Real estate expert, mother of three and power woman – Martina Albrecht, KENSINGTON franchisee for Mallorca’s northeast, honoured as best international franchisee with the highest turnover.
KENSINGTON franchisee Martina Albrecht is setting an example. For the past two years, the Hamburg native has been in charge of the licensed area of Mallorca Northeast, which was recently awarded as the location with the highest international turnover of KENSINGTON Finest Properties International in 2022.
The internationally operating real estate company, which is now represented in more than 87 locations in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands and the Spanish mainland as well as in Dubai, is one of the market leaders on the Balearic Islands.
Before the mother of three fulfilled her dream of having her own real estate office on Mallorca, Martina Albrecht worked as a real estate expert for the KENSINGTON showroom in Arta. Her ambition stood out early on, because within a very short time she developed into the top-selling sales consultant on the Spanish Balearic Island. Through a lot of hard work and commitment, the trained foreign trade merchant quickly became the figurehead of the region. In 2021, she seized the opportunity to purchase the licence for Mallorca’s northeast, and just one year later, it was declared the most successful licensed region on the Balearic Islands – a unique success story!

After her apprenticeship, the power woman was working independently in the marketing business and as a family manager for 20 years. Her passion for real estate and her ambition to eventually run her own real estate office have always accompanied her: “After moving to Mallorca in 2016, I got my start in the real estate industry in a small real estate office in Palma. During this time, I worked hard to learn all the basics. I then moved to a renowned competitor where I was able to perfect my expertise” and continues: “During this time, however, I also realised that I do a lot of things differently than my colleagues, which was very beneficial for the further development of my career.”
The ambitious entrepreneur does not reveal what exactly she does differently, but she does reveal her basic formula for success, which is needed to stand out in the highly competitive real estate market: “To be successful, you need courage, clear goals, fun in implementation and passion. It is important that you manage your life yourself. Self-responsible living is the key!”
An excellent service and customer care offer for the international clientele is Martina’s top priority. In order to expand this even further in the future, the entrepreneur decided to award the sub-licence for Porto Cristo at the end of 2022. Therefore, in the future, KENSINGTON Finest Properties International will support interested customers in this region with another showroom in the north-east of Mallorca.
“It is important for me that the KENSINGTON brand is represented throughout my licence area. My licence area has a very large span, too large to be able to look after it professionally from just one office. That’s why I have decided, with the support of my new franchisees, to open another showroom in the first sea line in Porto Cristo, to serve the Porto Cristo region and surrounding area from there.”
The opening of the new showroom is planned for March 2023. The names of the new franchisees will be announced shortly.
